Lights on Afterschool Celebration | Thursday, October 20th | 4:30 to 6 p.m.
Nichols Youth Center at 1027 Sherman Avenue
Join
Y.O.U. in celebrating this year’s Lights On Afterschool Celebration, a
nationwide series of events in support of afterschool programs. Y.O.U.
serves over 450 youth in our community, providing a safe place to go
after the school day ends. After school programs keep kids safe, help
working families and inspire learning. At the event, you’ll have the chance to meet our youth, to learn from
them about our anti-bullying curriculum, and to visit our
youth-harvested organic garden. Come see how Y.O.U. helps Youth
Succeed by attending our community open house. Let us know that you're attending by registering online.
If you can’t make it on October 20th, but want to join us afterschool, we will also be holding Lights on Afterschool Events on October 17, 18, 19, and 21 at Chute, ETHS, Oakton, and Washington Schools respectively. Please visit our events calendar for more details.
