About Y.O.U.
Mission Statement:
Y.O.U. is a youth development agency that provides services and leadership to meet the emerging needs of young people and their families in our community.
About Evanston:
Today, Evanston
continues to be one of the most attractive cities in the nation in which to
live and do business. It is a cosmopolitan city with a diverse population.
Evanston has an unusual natural setting on the shore of Lake Michigan. Wide
sandy beaches, historic homes on landscaped boulevards, tree lined bicycle
paths, and beautiful parks offer a variety of recreational activities.
Evanston has an outstanding transportation system. Metra trains and CTA
trains, as well as an extensive bus network provide access to other suburbs
as well as downtown Chicago. Evanston also allows its residents to
experience museums, art galleries, music performances, and theatre in many
venues.
