Jonathan Baum is an ex-officio member of the Executive Committee, serving as General Counsel. Jonathan has lived in Evanston, with only brief interruptions, since he was nine years old. He is the Director of Pro Bono Services and a partner in the Chicago law firm of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP. Jonathan directs the firm’s public service program and personally litigates civil rights and constitutional cases. He has also served on the District 65 school board. Jonathan was drawn to Y.O.U. 20 years ago by a long-time supporter and Board member who told him that the organization got more "bang for its buck" in meeting the needs of Evanston kids than any other group in town.
