D’Wayne Bates is a member of the Development Committee. He is a World History Teacher at Evanston Township High School, where he is also an assistant football and basketball coach. After graduating from Northwestern University in 1998, D’Wayne played in the NFL for six seasons. Throughout his NFL years, D’Wayne maintained a residence in Evanston, and he has volunteered for Y.O.U. since 1994.
