Dr. Allan Alson serves on Y.O.U.’s Governance Committee. Allan is the executive director of the high school transformation project at Chicago Public Schools. He is also a Senior Fellow of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation; a founding member of the Board of Minority Student Achievement Network, a national consortium of 25 urban-suburban school districts; and a member of the National Association for School Based Health Centers. Allan worked to establish an on-site office for Y.O.U. at Evanston Township High School during his 14-year tenure as superintendent of Evanston Township High School 202.
